The road from Newcon PDX’s January 2018 cancellation to Fandom PDX 2019 has been a long and challenging year. The Portland (and PNW area) were wary about the event happening again after some of the mis-steps of Anime PDX and Newcon PDX – but many of the fans in this region were willing to give it a second chance… and we want to say THANK YOU!
Fandom PDX 2019 took place at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel and drew 1268 attendees over the two days we were there. This is outstanding and exceeded our expectations.
Fandom PDX 2020 will take place January 4-5, 2020 (the same weekend) and we will be announcing the official venue shortly.
For now, we’ve got to catch up on some rest and start some plans for other projects we are launching this year in Portland.

You helped a 40 year old and her 13 year old bond in a whole new (and I must add deliciously entertaining) way. All the things, and people, and workshops, and vendors, and… All The Things!!
