Do you want to be FEATURED TALENT at Fandom PDX 2020? Applications are officially open.
Each year we get emails requesting to be a Guest / Featured Talent at Fandom PDX. As the convention has continued to grow, so has the need for outstanding talent to showcase at the event. Our convention not only brings in nationally known celebrity guests, but we also celebrate local cosplay, musical, and performance talent in the PDX/Pacific Northwest region. SO – if you feel you could contribute to being a part of Fandom PDX\’s weekend of pop culture – send us an email. Here are the specific things you need to include in your email.
BIO: Tell us about you. This doesn’t need to be The Lord of the Rings length. A single paragraph will do.
LOCATION: Are you local Portland/the Pacific Northwest?
GENRE: What category do you feel you/your group fit into? It should be one of the following:
- Anime/Animation
- Comics
- Cosplay
- Fantasy (including Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, etc.)
- Horror
- Internet/Podcasting
- Science Fiction (including Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Steampunk, etc.)
- Tabletop Gaming
- Video Games
WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA: Include links so we can see your history in fandom and current presence on the Internet.
OTHER APPEARANCES: What other conventions have you been a Guest or Featured Talent for?
PANELS/PRESENTATIONS: What specific panels or workshops or presentations can you offer? Fandom PDX focuses heavily on quality programming and part of the expectation of featured talent is to present strong presentations for fans.
